                                               Sporting Wichita Rojos Soccer Club Mission Statement

The mission of the Sporting Wichita Rojos Soccer Club is to provide a quality soccer environment that is fun and educational for the player. The club provides professional coaching that places an emphasis on learning and developing soccer skills. Winning or loosing is a matter of training, performance, discipline, hard work, and dedication. Sporting Wichita Rojos Soccer Club focuses on sportsmanship, team work, solidarity, friendship, loving the soccer game (futbol).

 

                                                                     Club History

The first Rojos team was formed the winter of 2002 winning its’ indoor session.  Wichita Rojos Soccer Club has grown into a Premier Futbol Club consisting of 16 Teams and approx 300 players.  We are a competitive organization who is a member of the Sedgwick County Soccer Association (S.C.S.A.).  We currently have teams of boys and girls, from ages 4 to 18.   Our board of directors consists of elected parents who are actively involved in the club.   Wichita Rojos has many sponsors which help support scholarship for some players to cover or lower soccer fees, uniforms, tournaments, etc.As a club, we organize fundraising activities to support scholarship, buy equipment, and run social activities for players and their families.
